Subscription Categories

Categories help you organize subscriptions and generate meaningful reports.

Default Categories

Tracktron comes with common categories:

  • Communication: Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams
  • Productivity: Notion, Asana, Monday.com
  • Development: GitHub, AWS, Vercel
  • Marketing: HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Ads
  • Sales: Salesforce, Pipedrive, Gong
  • HR: BambooHR, Gusto, Deel
  • Finance: QuickBooks, Expensify, Brex
  • Security: 1Password, Okta, Cloudflare
  • Design: Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva
  • Analytics: Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics

Custom Categories

Create categories that match your organization:

  1. Go to Settings > Categories
  2. Click "Add Category"
  3. Enter name, description, and optional color

Category Tips

  • Keep categories broad enough to be useful
  • Avoid too many categories (10-15 is ideal)
  • Use tags for more specific groupings
